In the beginning of December I texted my friend Cherise and told her we should fly to Seattle because tickets were really cheap! I didn't think she would say yes to going but she did! So we flew out of Vegas and in to Seattle! We had such a fun weekend! It was so great to take her to all of my favorite places back home. We spent one day shopping in Tukwilla and part of that day in South Bellevue area. Then the next day was spent in Bellevue at Bell Square shopping. We also saw the Winter Wonderland show that happens in Bellevue and it is SO fun! They have live actors that are dressed as toy soldiers who march around, dance, and play instruments! They have snow that falls and Christmas music. Oh and can't forget the lights that are going! It's amazing! After we watched that show we went and saw the movie Blind Side. That movie is amazing! Seriously, one of my favorites. Sandra Bullock did an incredible job. Actually everyone in the movie did. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone! While we were there we also spent a full day in Seattle of coarse! We did tons of shopping, saw the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton, strolled through Pikes Place, and went to the Seattle Library! We had the best time! By the end of the day our feet were killing us and we were so tired. But we had a blast! We also drove by the space needle, which looks so cool at Christmas time with the tree on top! On Sunday we visited the LDS temple, went to a YSA ward in Bellevue, and the Christmas Devotional put on by the first presidency. Before we flew out on Monday night we went shopping again and then went down to Puyallup and had lunch with my dad at The Rock. One of my favorite pizza places. The trip to Seattle was wonderful! It was fun to see Richelle Gregg again and her family. You guys are awesome! Thanks for letting us stay with you. And..Cherise, thanks for the great adventures, lots of laughter, and advice about life! You are a great friend and I am so lucky to have you in my life! :)

Thanksgiving weekend
Thanksgiving this year was great! We had so much fun as a family and it was tons of fun to have some of our extended family down to St. George as well. The first night everyone got here it we decided around midnight to start up a bonfire and do smores! We roasted marshmallows and every one's new favorite was star bursts that were cooked! So yummy! They are hard and crystallized on the outside and gushy on the inside. Then the next day was Thanksgiving day and that was spent cooking and just playing games. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious(as always). That's pretty much all that happened on Thanksgiving day, it was just a really casual fun day. We spent the next day having a girls day and all of us girls went to a huge Christmas craft show and then we went to my new favorite restaurant called 25 main! They have really yummy cupcakes and food. It's just a fun place to go! Honestly, I am just so grateful for a great family! For the knowledge that I have that as we work hard and follow God that we will be together forever. What greater blessing than that! I am grateful for so many things in my life and am just glad that we had such a successful weekend! :)
