About 2 weeks ago i was in a car accident. I was driving up to the temple to do a session in Provo and was with my roommate Whitney. A few cars quickly stopped in front of us causing us to come to a halt. I slammed on my breaks, I remember screaming and then we thought we were fine. I was thinking "oh few.., nothing happened ", when all the sudden a car slammed into the back of us! I can't forget the noise, it was terrible! The woman behind us didn't see that anyone had stopped and slammed into the back of us going about 30-35 mph. I was in shock and immediately felt the pain as I flew forward and back to hit my seat with a lot of impact. Suffering from whiplash! Everything went well in taking care of the accident. Everyone was so nice and the cops were great. We even got to drive home in a cop car. That's my first and last experience with that! ;) ha ha. But my roommate Holly took me to the emergency room and I spent around 5 hours there getting CT scans and Xrays done. Nothing was found to be broken. I was so grateful! Still in shock that night I went home and slept it off with some good medicine. Then spent the next days recovering. My neck, shoulders, head, and back were so sore. I am doing great as of two weeks later, trying to ease my way back into work. I am now seeing a physical therapist who is helping me get my mobility back to normal. As of right now I have 60% restriction to my mobility. So it's getting better with time! I am so blessed to have wonderful friends, neighbors, ward members, roommates, and family who have supported, loved, and cared for me through all of this. I know that God is so aware of us and that he loves his children! I have felt his love and know he is always with me, especially through these times of need.
These are pictures of the back of my car. I had to say goodbye to my car and am now on the hunt for a new one that I can have many more adventures with!
