RASCAL FLATTS CONCERT
So Aaron and I went to Salt Lake City and saw Rascal Flatts in concert! Jessica Simpson opened for them and she wasn't very good. But they put on such a good show! We danced and sang and had the best time! I LOVE Rascal Flatts and having Aaron there with me was even better! If you have not been to one of there concerts and are a fan, I defiantly say you have to go! They have the coolest lighting and show! It's just amazing, that's all I can say.

BIRTHDAY
So my birthday this year was a little crazy with my school schedule being from 9-9:30. I still had a really good day though. My family sent me a card and a HUGE bouquet of balloons that my Aunt Ellen and Grandma Taylor brought down to me. Aaron took me out to dinner at Cafe Rio after class and we hung out that night. He gave me the new Rascal Flatts CD which by the way is an amazing CD! He also surprised me with balloons and BEAUTIFUL violet tulips! My very favorite flower. :) Thanks babe! I had a really good day at both schools too. Danielle(makeup instructor) brought me little confetti(my favorite) cupcakes and we celebrated during class and then I just got to the spend the day at Renaissance with my girls and they sang to me and we had a big March birthday party! It was a good day. I am one LUCKY girl!

MAKEUP CLASS
So I have had an extremely busy month. I have been going to school for 4 weeks with the schedule of 9a.m.-9:30p.m. It has been so exhausting but SO much fun! I did a night school for Makeup Artistry at Acaydia in Provo. I loved every second of it! Each night we worked on models and on other members of the class. We also got worked on as well. In the class I learned color theory, day looks, night looks, bridal makeup, special effects makeup, runway stuff, and even more. I absolutely LOVE doing makeup! I would have to say I am liking it even more than doing hair. But here are a few pictures from my class.

These first 5 pictures are from my final project/photo shoot. I love how they all turned out! :) Plus that night was seriously one of the funnest nights ever! The three of us laughed so much that it was hard for me to apply makeup on the girls. Our photographer was awesome. He did a fabulous job! And..I owe it to my makeup instructor Danielle who is a fabulous artist who taught me SO much during this class! I wish it never had to end!

Aaron came in and was a model for our special effects class. I did the bruise and blood. Danielle(makeup instructor) did the bullet hole in his head. So cool, huh?

Photo Shoots while I was at Renaissance

These are 3 photoshoots that I did while at Renaissance! The First one is Richelle Gregg- I wanted to do a sophisticated look with Red Lips. Second-Nikelle Westover, I wanted a very sexy subdued look, she was the perfect model for this. With did deep smokey eyes and full voluminous hair. The last picture is Lindsey Farr- Glamor meets girly. We did a nice red plum lip color and a sleek pony tail. I love how they all turned out! I am having so much fun doing photo shoots and hope to do many more.

I am now a lisenced cosmetologist!

So this month I had my written exam for my cosmetology license. I was pretty calm when going in to take it but it was still a little scary. I have never been that good on tests but I PASSED and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Thank goodness that is now over. I also passed my practical exam and now am a licensed cosmetologist! It feels so good! Yay! I had to do tons of preparation for the test and I took a class taught by my favorite instructor from school, Mair! Love her and couldn't have done this without her!

To celebrate Aaron and I went to Cafe Rio! (New favorite restaurant!) My family sent me a cookie bouquet with lots of yummy cookies! Thanks everyone who has made this a special time for me!

December/Christmas 2008

This month has been filled with lots of fun things! Aaron and I have had a few fun dates this month. We went to the Festival of the Trees with Taylor Thetford and her friend Chuckie. It is so amazing to see how many different trees there are and how creative people can get when decorating them! My favorite would have to be the amazing gingerbread houses they had though. Oh and they had a few dance companies perform and that was neat. I LOVE watching dancers and dancing!! I sure do miss always dancing. But lets see what else... Oh, we also went to this HUGE Christmas craft show and had lots of yummy treats and saw tons of crafts. It was SO much fun! After we went to this restaurant called the Mayan and they have this awesome show where they have divers in the middle of the building! So cool! One night for FHE we went with Aaron's ward to Temple Square in SLC and saw the lights and had hot chocolate and donuts. One other thing we did was go to Thanksgiving Point and drive through the light show that they have there. I always love doing that! It has been a tradition of my families to do that ever since I can remember and it was kind of cool to be able to share that with Aaron.

So the rest of the month was filled with lots of school, family, and going home to WA! I was able to spend Christmas with my family and that was really nice. Oh, and at school we had a fashion show called "Who's Who Dance". It was so much fun! We made up our models and then there was a fashion show and a dance for whoever in Provo that wanted to come!

Fun Pasta dinner we made over Christmas time!
My friend Stuart Roth's fairwell. He is serving a mission in Mexico for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Good luck Stu!

PhotoShoots Summer/Fall 2008 "Changing the World one Style at a Time"

I started out doing these photoshoots for a school project but I didn't end up finishing it. I still had so much fun with this! I loved working with all these people and getting to know them on a different level. haha. It's really fun to see people open up in front of the camera! Thanks everyone who helped out with this project and for being models for me! I did the hair and makeup on everyone. :) Sooo much fun! Oh and the models are each dressed for the profession that they are going to pursue.

Adventures of the GHETTO car!

October 26,2008
So today started out to be a perfectly good day. I got to sleep in for a little while and then got ready and went over to Timpview high school for a school function. We set up a booth at a ballroom competition and we did hair and makeup for the event. I did a pretty cool updo that had a lot of braids and spikes. The girl really liked it! I then left there and went home and got a bunch of different things taken care of. Then in the late afternoon I went and picked up Aaron and we went and took my car in to check the brakes because they have been sounding really bad lately..so we take it in and they check them out and find that things are perfectly fine with them and said that if it continues to sound like that to bring it back in a couple of weeks. So we left and went over to the movie theatre in Provo and saw High School Musical 3. Although it was super cheesy, it was a cute movie and by the end all I wanted to do was dance and sing. Well as Aaron and I get back to the car, we start to drive and it is sounding really bad at this point, so we pull over in the parking lot and get out to see if we can see anything. Guess what!? The tire was flat! So we hurry to the trunk and pull out the spare but come to find out there is nothing under the tire to fix it with. But at this point a nice young guy had pulled over to help us out. So he gets all of his stuff out and does his best to help us out. But there was no screwy thing to take off the bults so he goes in to Sears to see if they have anything and at this time the mall security guy( who by the way was a complete weirdo) is there to try and help but really all he did was sit there on his phone and text people. So WEIRD! So the guys comes back out with nothing and so the mall security guy finally goes and gets something to help us fix it. We take off the tire, but the spare on and come to find out...it was FLAT! Great we thought..so we thanked them and they both left. We ended up being able to drive it over to the gas station and fill it up with air. Luckily it didn't pop and has held up well. Oh and after that we stopped to fill up all the tires and a bird pooped on my car and on me! haha.,We then finished the night off with pizza and watched "What about Bob". Let's just say it ended up to be quite the eventful night but a great memory in the future! :)
