I was asked to do a makeup class for the Mia Maids in the ward next to my home ward. A sweet friend of mine, Laura Hafen, is the advisor and wanted me to do a class to teach the girls how to apply makeup and how to explore the avenue of makeup since they are all pretty young and learning how to wear makeup. The class was way fun! I was able to express to the girls the love I have for makeup artistry, the love I have for my father in heaven, and my passion for working with people. It was wonderful to be able to share with them of there individual worth and how the gospel of Jesus Christ and the yw's program can really help them find out who they are and understand there worth as a daughter of God. We went over tons of different looks and although the girls were very shy, they had a blast and a few even finally gave in and were my models. What a great evening! I wish I could stand in front of people more often and teach them of there worth and help them to find the beautiful attributes they have. To help them focus on the positive gifts from God that we each have in the gift of our bodies. :) Thanks Laura for letting me teach these beautiful girls!
